2007/2008 Retreat Dates
Thursday & Friday September 27th & 28th
This year's Freshmen retreat will be held on September 27th & 28th at Shoreview Community Center. Half of the class will attend on September 27. The other half will attend on September 28. The theme of the retreat is respect. It will be facilitated by Youth Frontiers, Inc., a non-profit organization that has been providing retreats for students in grades 4-12 on important values such as kindness, courage and respect for the last 15 years. In the last year, Youth Frontiers presented more than 470 retreats to more than 70,000 students in Minnesota and surrounding states. The Respect retreat will focus on creating an atmosphere of respect among the freshmen class and help them form new relationships with each other. Many members of the Senior class will assist with small group activities and discussions as well as large group games and icebreakers.
