Clown Ministry

              Clowns perform at nursing homes, parish festivals, day care centers, etc., anywhere there is a need for smiles and celebrations. Anyone with an interest in clowning is most welcome to join. No experience is necessary, just an interest in creating laughter. A brief training session is required which consists of an overview of what clown ministry is all about, sessions on make-up and costuming, and a plunge experience. The goal is to clown at least once a month, however, membership does not require that a student clown at all "adventures." Each clown is encouraged to clown as often as possible, but there are no requirements other than a Happy Heart and a bag of tricks to stay in the group.
