Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education is an elective course that allows students to earn both a Science and Physical Education credit.  This is a project based class where students take part in lessons including: archery, edible plants, fishing, water quality and Minnesota mammals.   We also offer the Minnesota Firearms Certification in the fall and the spring sessions.  Teachers lead weekend excursions that bring the students out into nature and connect the trips to the classroom lessons.  Outdoor Education is a trimester course that is offered Fall, Winter and Spring.  Students have the ability to take the course in combination Fall/Winter or Winter/Spring.
