CDH Baseball
Cretin-Derham Hall Baseball Program offers competition at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, Sophomore, and Ninth Grade level. There are tryouts for each level and there have consistently been three Ninth Grade teams. Varsity, JV and B Squad teams compete for 13 weeks with 20 games. Ninth Grade teams compete about 9-10 weeks with 15 games.
Baseball season begins Monday, March 18, 2013. The Parent/Athlete Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 25th, 2013 at 5:45PM in the Field House.
The Baseball fee is $50 for all levels (Varsity, JV, and B Squad), this fee includes a hat, socks, and t-shirt (9th graders will wear this shirt as game jersey). B Squad, JV and Varsity will be provided game pants, Ninth Graders are expected to purchase their own white pants. More information will follow at the Parent/Athlete Meeting.
Monday, April 29 11:25 AM - Varsity Baseball game versus Woodbury has been moved to Cretin-Derham Hall. The team will play 2- inning games starting at 3:15. Varsity team members will be dismissed at 2:15.
JV and B Baseball meet in the field house immediately after school.
Gold 9th Grade Baseball will play on Monday, April 29 two 5 inning games starting at 4:00PM at CDH on the Carondelet Fields versus Mounds View. The White team will not play today.
Wednesday, May 1 Gold and White will travel to Stillwater Junior High and play at 4:15.
Wednesday, May 1 Purple will play Minnehaha Academy at 4:15 at CDH.
Thursday, May 2 White will travel to West Minnehaha Recreation Center to play St. Agnes at 4:00
Friday, May 3 Gold will host WBL at 4:15. Will will try and add another game for White or Purple with WBL as a double header. TBA
Saturday, May 4 Purple vs STA at STA 10 AM
Saturday, May 4 Gold at Wayzata HS for Tournament 10AM versus Eden Prairie
Ninth Grade Baseball
There will be a 15U Summer Traveling
Baseball Team for the summer of 2013. If you would like to sign up or
get more information, Contact Chris Byron at 651-470-9016 or baseball@pcgllp.com
with questions. The team will play in the MYAS league at the AAA Level
and play in 3 tournaments in June, State Tournament and playoffs in
July. Workouts will start in Jan. running for 10 weeks on Sunday
afternoon from 3 to 5. The team will take a break during the high school
season and start back up in June.
