Counseling and Guidance Department
Grade 9 | Grade 10 |Grade 11 |Grade 12 |
CDH High School Code/CEEB Code 242-245

An effective Guidance Department recognizes that individual growth and learning take place in all
aspects of one’s life: intellectual, social, emotional and physical. Supporting this growth and development
is essential in helping students make healthy and satisfying decisions.

Parents are encouraged to call the Guidance Department at any time for an appointment--651-696-3312. We will schedule teacher-student-parent meetings at your convenience. Referrals for academic, psychological or chemical health assessments are available upon request.

Cretin-Derham Hall has two support teams for students, IST and CORE. The Individual Support Team
(IST) is a referral service for teachers and students aimed at addressing concerns and problems of Cretin-
Derham Hall students. IST is comprised of selected faculty and staff members, including Guidance and
Campus Ministry. Students who need further intervention may be referred to CORE, a group of guidance
counselors and administrators.
