2011 Football Contact Information Form
Please complete the contact information link and complete the form. Completion of the form will allow for coaches, captains, and parents to create contact information for student-athletes and parents. All members of the football program should fill out this form grades 9-12. Football Team Photos
Varsity, JV, and B Squad Football will have their photos taken Wednesday, August 24 beginning at 3:00 PM in the field house. Ninth Grade Team will have their photo taken on Tuesday, September 13th at 3:15 at St. Claire Field. 2011 Family BBQ and Team Prayer Service Information
Cretin- Derham Hall Football has four levels: Ninth Grade, Tenth Grade (B Squad), Junior Varsity, and Varsity. Football is a sport that encourages both experienced and non-experienced players to participate. The varsity and junior varsity football season begins in mid August and goes till the last week in November. B Squad football season begins in mid August and will last till the end of October. Ninth grade football begins in mid August and will last mid October.
To accommodate for space, CDH will use St. Claire Recreation Fields as a secondary practice location for ninth grade, jv, and varsity football practices. Teams will be bused to this location after school when needed.
Clothing Order/Spirit Wear - At the Parent/Athlete Meeting on Wed. Aug. 3rd football clothing order will be available. It is encourage that you get to the meeting early to sign up for various events during the season and for ordering purposes, as the meeting will start at 6:30 promptly. These warm ups are not required purchases for the team.
The FINAL DEADLINE to order football apparel is at NOON on September 5th for mid September delivery. If you have any question regarding football apparel, please contact Emmy Springer at emmy@designer-sports.com. Please do not call the Athletic Office regarding football apparel.

UST Spectator Information
University of St. Thomas Construction Update for CDH Football Games - Aug. 2011
Fan/Spectator Information – Note that as construction environments change, directions for games may also change, please be aware of any changes as the season passes.
- East of the football stadium is the new UST Student Commons still under construction.
- Carpooling to games is recommended as parking areas are more limited than in the past due to construction.
- Spectators should park in the lot at the intersection of Grand Ave and Cretin Ave on the west side of the ramp first.
- Parking in the parking ramp will be free of charge with the exception of Weekday games on Wednesday, Oct 19 vs. Roseville and Tuesday, Oct. 25 Section Quarterfinal Game due to evening classes.
- Drop off spots are very limited due to the construction area and congestion any drop off area would create.
- Please drop off individuals needing assistant or handicap requirements on Cretin Avenue south of the ticket booths.
- Residential areas surrounding UST require city parking permits. Please avoid parking in neighborhoods especially west of the stadium. NOTE, your car may be towed if you park in one of these areas. Please check the signage on any residential street and be mindful of the neighborhoods.
- Police and UST Public Safety will help with traffic flow, to prevent accidents. There is a significant concern for pedestrians attempting to cross Cretin Ave and Summit Ave at non-intersection areas. Please use the cross walks at all times.
- Ticket sales will occur along Cretin Avenue. There will be presale tickets for all regular season home games during lunch at CDH the day of the game with the exception of the first game of the season since we do not have school on Friday, September 2. Students and families from the CDH Community are encouraged to purchase their tickets at CDH during lunch. The lunch period starts at 11:05 to 12:45. Tickets will not be sold before or after this time.
- Please arrange pick up of your son/daughter or adult fans in a location that does not create congestion. Picking up along Cretin Avenue or in the South Lot adjacent to the construction is prohibited.
PARKING at University of St. Thomas
- SPECTATORS should park on the south side of campus (West of Cretin Avenue, South of Summit Ave. and at the end of Grand Ave.) The ramp will be free of charge for Friday and Saturday games. The ramp will charge for evening games on Wednesdy, Oct. 19 and Tuesday, October 25 due to evening classes. Please carpool when possible. Be courteous to neighborhoods and residential areas if parking on city streets and be aware of any parking restrictions.
- HANDICAPPED PARKING dropp off on Cretin Avenue.
- DROPPING OFF/PICKINIG UP fans will be challenging. If necessary, please do not drop off or pick up along Cretin or Summit Ave.
- SCHOOL BUSES will drop off on Cretin Ave as the bus is heading North and then park along Cretin Ave. (School buses must be mindful of not parking before 6 PM (city ordinance) and be aware of parking restrictions on Cretin Avenue for City Buses.) UST confirmed there would be enough spaces for 6 or 7 buses in this area.
