Jack Kreitzer Fine Arts
jack kreitzer is a poet who got mixed up with education. After leaving Medical School. He is an author, educator, mentor, imaginator, motivator, and catalyst. Kreitzer has published six volumes of poetry, and written twenty-six other books, including a teacher "untext." He has taught creativity at universities, keynoted conferences, edited books, facilitated management/staff developments, and conducted hundreds of artist residencies over twenty-five years in dozens of states, with simultaneous inservices as a writing specialist. Products include lyrics, liner notes, and symphonic poems. Creative Communications is a class he teamteaches in residence at Cretin-Derham Hall High School incorporating divergent thinking, critical thinking, and productivity through multiple intelligences. The Minnesota State Arts Board includes him on their Arts in Education roster. For eight years his work as an educational consultant focused both on giftedness and on very special arts with persons experiencing disabilities. Youth-at-risk programs in alternative schools, prisons, and institutions also have been professional venues. The Black Hills of Dakota has been his home, where he has long been rumored to be the secret identity of the WORDMAN. St. Paul is a second home with his wife Katie the DramaMama and their two guru sons.
