Important Academic Information

During first trimester, I will hold office hours every Monday and Thursday in our classroom (room A211) from 2:45pm to 3:45pm and at other times by appointment. In the event that athletics interfere with your ability to attend my office hours, I will be more than happy to write your coach an email. If you plan to attend my office hours, please find someone else that has the same questions that you do. Coming in pairs or larger groups shows me that you have already pursued other means of finding answers to your questions and will make our time together more effective.

About Your Teacher

In addition to teaching science, I coach robotics and teach social dancing. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with a degree in physics and a minor in math. After a brief stint in Las Vegas trying, unsuccessfully, to be a singing gondolier, I moved back to Minnesota and earned a master's degree in education from St. Mary's University. I was placed at Cretin-Derham Hall for my student teaching, and was hired as a teacher here the following year. I am presently enrolled in an education policy program at the University of Minnesota. Outside of school I enjoy singing with my choir, swing dancing with my girlfriend, and cooking. Whether I do any of those well or not is a different question altogether.
