Steven Tacheny
English

Born in St. Louis, MO, to a family of educators and musicians, my family moved to the ‘family farm’ outside of Mankato, MN. We still use this farm to sell vegetables and berries during the summer. A product of Catholic education with multiple language degrees from St. John's University, Collegeville, and an MAT from MN State, Mankato, I also spent a year as a Lasallian Volunteer before working in charter schools. I’ve been at CDH over 10 years and enjoy supporting all aspects of our community. I’ve taught juniors U.S. Literature in both college prep and honors levels. I’ve also taught a variety of electives and currently teach the 9th grade Values course with Kathryn Fetterly and Janet Watson.
