Trainer/Injuries
Alyse Randall is the new athletic trainer for Cretin-Derham Hall. She works with all student-athletes from CDH free of charge and provides sideline coverage for all home events. Student-athletes most commonly see Alyse for injury assessment, acute care (i.e. taping, bandaging, ice) and rehabilitation. When more than one home event is scheduled for the day, another athletic trainer will be contacted to help Alyse cover the additional event(s).
Originally from Columbia Heights, MN, Alyse attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire to complete an undergraduate degree in athletic training. She then attended Western Michigan University for two years and attained a master’s degree in exercise science and sports medicine. During this time, she was the athletic trainer at Vicksburg High School. Alyse returned to Minnesota to accept a position with Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists, P.A. and works in the clinic during the day.
Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists, P.A. is able to accommodate CDH student-athletes with a preferred appointment when a visit is required for more serious injuries. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Alyse at Alyse.Randall@allina.com.
