Matching Gifts:
When you make a gift to Cretin-Derham Hall, your company or your spouse's company may match that amount.  Your gift to CDH could be doubled or even tripled!  To determine whether your company will match your charitable donation to CDH, contact your human resources office.

Phonathon:
The CDH Phonathon is a program made up of students and young alums who have benefited from the generosity of our supporters over the years.  This is our chance to thank our supporters, talk about the events and accomplishments of the school, and talk to you about our on-going need.  Your support continues the legacy of academic excellence and community leadership at Cretin-Derham Hall.  We look forward to talking to you!

Securities and Stock Gifts:
Security gifts are an advantageous way of making a charitable contribution that may positively affect financial, tax and estate plans.  Giving a gift through stock offers the opportunity for significant tax savings.

Give a Gift Through your Ira
One of the most tax-effective ways to make a gift to CDH is through your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).  New legislation now allows individuals 70.5 years old and older to make tax-free gifts up to $100,000 using funds transferred directly from your IRA.  If you act by January 31, 2011, your gift will be effective for the 2010 calendar year and you can make a second gift for 2011 anytime between January 1 and December 31, 2011.

Gift Planning and the legacy society:
Planned gifts include charitable gift annuities or trusts, designating CDH as a beneficiary of a retirement account or insurance policy, gifting property or including CDH in your will.
