Tuition & Financial Aid

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and alumnae, faculty, staff, and community, we are able to continue our mission and values by offering every student the opportunity to attend Cretin-Derham Hall.

Tuition for the 2016 – 2017 school year is $12,550 plus a $175 technology fee.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Cretin-Derham Hall annually distributes over $2.5 million in financial aid to over 60% of our families. The financial aid application for the 2017-2018 school year will be available online on November 15, 2016 at www.TADS.com .  Applications must be submitted through TADS.

Step 1:

Fill out the TADS Financial Aid Application online.

Step 2:

For the 2017-2018 school year the TADS Application will be due by February 15, 2017. 

Step 3:

Upload or provide required documentation, requested from TADS, to support your application.

Step 4:

Check your email (mid to late April) for notice of your award. Only students who are registered will be considered for financial aid.

Student Work Study Program

Students will receive a $7.00 per hour tuition credit for all work study positions.  Students work either before or after school in the classrooms or they can choose to work the lunchroom duty.  Applications for the school year work study program are in the main office.  Students whose families qualify for tuition assistance will be given priority in hiring.

Tuition Assistance Program

As part of the CDH Community, parents are invited to work concession stands to earn additional tuition assistance. Only registered CDH families are eligible.

Current concession venues include:

  • TCF Bank Stadium (Vikings & Gophers)
  • Ridder Arena (Women's Gopher Hockey)
  • Williams Arena (Men's & Women's Gopher Basketball)
  • Xcel Energy Center (Wild and Swarm)
  • CHS Stadium (Saints)
  • US Bank Stadium
