Tuition & Financial Aid

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and alumnae, faculty, staff, and community, we are able to continue our mission and values by offering every student the opportunity to attend Cretin-Derham Hall.

Tuition for the 2017 – 2018 school year is $13,050 plus a $175 technology fee.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Cretin-Derham Hall annually distributes over $2.5 million in financial aid to over 60% of our families. The financial aid application for the 2017-2018 can be found online at www.TADS.com .  Applications must be submitted through TADS.

Step 1:

Fill out the TADS Financial Aid Application online.

Step 2:

For the 2017-2018 school year the TADS Application was due by February 15, 2017. 

Step 3:

Upload or provide required documentation, requested from TADS, to support your application.

Step 4:

Check your email (mid to late April) for notice of your award. Only students who are registered will be considered for financial aid.  The emails with financial aid awards have been sent out to all registered applicants. 

2017 Summer Student Work Study Program

This summer, the CDH Summer Work Program will require only a limited amount of student workers.  These workers must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. starting Monday, June 12 and finishing Friday, August 18.  Students will not work the week of the 4th of July.  Workers will receive $9.00 per hour paid on the 15th and 30th of the month.  Students with positive work experience in the past will be given first priority.  Students can apply on the attached form before May 8, and we will let those know who are accepted by email on or before Friday, May 12.

Tuition Assistance Program

As part of the CDH Community, parents are invited to work concession stands to earn additional tuition assistance. Only registered CDH families are eligible.

Current concession venues include:

  • TCF Bank Stadium (Vikings & Gophers)
  • Ridder Arena (Women's Gopher Hockey)
  • Williams Arena (Men's & Women's Gopher Basketball)
  • Xcel Energy Center (Wild and Swarm)
  • CHS Stadium (Saints)
  • US Bank Stadium
