Each year Derham Hall alumnae and former faculty/staff members are recognized for their professional accomplishments, dedication to the school and service to the community at the annual Derham Hall Alumnae Association event .
Derham Hall alumnae, friends and family members are encouraged to nominate deserving women for these awards. A woman previously selected will be considered for a period of three years at which time she will have to be re-nominated for consideration.
All nominations are reviewed by members of the Derham Hall Alumnae Association Leadership Committee, and votes are cast by secret ballot. In the event of a tie, the decision is made by the association's president. The award winners are notified by the Alumnae Association president.
