CDH Students Continue Community of Saints Christmas Party Tradition

Cretin-Derham Hall students took part in the annual Community of Saints Children’s Christmas Party on December 12, continuing a tradition that has lasted more than 40 years among Cretin, Derham Hall, and Cretin-Derham Hall.

Students traveled to Community of Saints Catholic School in West St. Paul to celebrate Christmas with preschool and kindergarten students. The event was organized through the LaSallian Youth program and was supervised by CDH staff members Katie Carroll '00, Peter Gleich, Aaron Knight, Peggy Mansur, Brother Michael Phipps, and Mark McGuire.

During the party, CDH students partnered with 4- and 5-year-old children. Activities included making gingerbread houses, playing games, reading stories, singing songs, visiting with Santa, and sharing gifts that the high school students provided for the children.
