CDH Winter Sports Season Recap: A Remarkable 2025–26 Campaign

As winter gives way to spring, it’s the perfect moment to celebrate an outstanding season across all CDH winter sports. From the ice to the hardwood, the mat to the pool, our student‑athletes delivered exceptional performances, competitive grit, and countless moments of pride for the Raider community.

Girls Hockey

The girls hockey program continued its upward trajectory with a young, talented roster that advanced to the Section semifinals. Their season ended in a heartbreaking final‑minute loss to top‑seeded Apple Valley, but the team’s growth and resilience were undeniable.

Individual Honors

• Grace Kemp ’26 – All‑Conference; finalist for the Jori Jones Award, given to the top goaltender in Minnesota

Boys Hockey

The boys team delivered another impressive campaign, capturing the Suburban East Conference Championship and advancing to the Section semifinal.

Girls Basketball

The girls basketball team once again proved its dominance, repeating as Section Champions and earning a trip to the MSHSL State Tournament. After defeating Hill‑Murray, the Raiders secured a strong 4th‑place finish.

Boys Basketball

The boys basketball team continued its remarkable run, winning the Suburban East Conference Championship for the third straight year and advancing to the Section championship, where they fell in overtime to the state’s top‑ranked team.

The Raiders also repeated as Section 4AAAA Academic Champions, highlighting excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

CDH wrestling continued its rise, sending four athletes to the State Tournament, a testament to the program’s growing strength.

The competition dance team continued to make strides, finishing the season with a top‑10 performance at the Section meet and showing strong program development.

The alpine ski team battled through a competitive season, showing steady improvement and delivering a strong showing at the Section tournament.
