Five Raiders Sign National Letters of Intent to Continue Their Athletic Careers

On Wednesday, November 12, five Cretin-Derham Hall student-athletes made their college decisions official by signing their National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the next level.

Four members of the 2025 State Champion Baseball Team and one member of the State Runner-Up Boys Basketball Team were among those signing. Each athlete shared reflections on their journey, their decision, and the people who helped them along the way.

Jack Dreiman ’26 – Baseball, University of Sioux Falls

Outfielder Jack Dreiman signed with the University of Sioux Falls, where he looks forward to competing in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

“I chose USF because it’s close to home and I have a great chance to play as a freshman,” Dreiman said. “It’s a smaller private school, and that’s the type of environment I like. I loved the culture and atmosphere on the baseball side.”

Dreiman credits his father and teammates for shaping his growth and success.

“My dad has been my biggest supporter and influencer — he’s helped me understand things I couldn’t before and has always been there for me. My team has helped me develop a stronger work ethic on and off the field.”

Harrison Falk ’26 – Baseball, University of San Francisco

Fellow outfielder Harrison Falk will take his talents to the University of San Francisco to compete in the West Coast Conference.

“I chose the University of San Francisco because I created a great relationship with Coach DiToma and could see the belief he has in me as both a player and a person,” Falk shared. “He’s building a culture of community — very similar to CDH — and that’s something I’ll have no trouble buying into. USF offers top-notch academics and high-level baseball, two of my top priorities. Plus, I can’t think of a better city to spend the next four years in.”

Falk expressed gratitude to his parents, teammates, and especially his longtime coach.

“My parents and past coaches have greatly impacted my development, but the biggest influence has been Coach Bucky Mieres. He’s supported me since my early days in Minnesota and taught me so much about the game and the person I want to become. My high school team has been like a second family — I’ve learned about healthy competition, focus, and resilience through them.”

Davis Fleming ’26 – Baseball, University of Minnesota

Davis Fleming, a versatile outfielder and first baseman, signed with the University of Minnesota.

“I chose Minnesota because of the team culture, strong academics, and the coaching staff,” Fleming said. “The coaches are passionate and genuine — it isn’t just a team, it’s a family.”

Fleming credited his older brother for inspiring him.

“My older brother Watson has pushed me for as long as I can remember. I wouldn’t be where I am without his support.”

Joe Fenlon ’26 – Baseball, University of St. Thomas

Joe Fenlon, shortstop for the Raiders, will stay close to home, joining the University of St. Thomas Tommies.

“I chose St. Thomas because I really like the coaches — Coach Olean and Coach Vavra have been awesome, and I can’t wait to play for them,” Fenlon said. “St. Thomas just feels like home. I love the campus and the culture of the program.”

Fenlon recognized the people who helped him reach this point.

“My dad has always been my role model — he’s believed in me through the ups and downs. My hitting coach, Hunter Foss, prepared me for the next level, and my high school teammates were unbelievable. We had such a close bond last year, and that connection helped us win the state tournament.”

Jojo Mitchell ’26 – Basketball, University of St. Thomas

From the Raiders’ state runner-up boys basketball team, standout guard Jojo Mitchell also signed with St. Thomas, where he will continue his career close to home.

“It was a great spot to play, and the area allows family and friends to come support,” Mitchell said. “Of all the options I had, St. Thomas felt like the best fit. I love Coach Tauer and his staff, and the school has the best arena in college basketball.”

Mitchell expressed appreciation for his father, coaches, and teammates.

“My dad and my coaches have had the most experience and always given great advice. They’ve helped me learn how to lead not just with words, but through actions — and to understand the influence I can have on others.”

Congratulations, Raiders!

These five outstanding young men have made an indelible impact on Cretin-Derham Hall athletics and our community. We congratulate them on this milestone and look forward to watching their continued success at the collegiate level.
