The CDH Boys Basketball team hosted the annual "Coaches vs. Cancer" game against Mounds View. The theme was an 'orange out' because the color orange represents leukemia.
Each year, the basketball community honors those affected by cancer.
The CDH boys' basketball team raised $1400 in donations for the American Cancer Society in Own Loftus' name.
Owen Loftus passed away this past fall from complications from leukemia. His parents Daniel and Susan Loftus were able to attend the game. The CDH pep band brought the Raider spirit, especially in honor of their friend Owen who was a proud band member. The basketball parents organized this event and collected the donations that night.
