CDH Community Awards-Celebrating our Award Winners

  The Cretin-Derham Hall Community Awards evening will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Saint Paul Hotel. This wonderful evening celebrates all of the best of our community and will honor alumni and friends in our community from Cretin, Derham Hall and Cretin-Derham Hall. For the first time, all of our Community Awards will be presented at this special event, recognizing the significant accomplishments of our distinguished alumni and friends, with the support and congratulations of the entire community.

THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITY-WIDE AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED:

Bishop Joseph Cretin Award Winner-Michael Kammerer'58

This award recognizes a man for achievements in his particular field of endeavor

The Carondelet Award Winner-Tara Williams Fortune'73

This award is presented to a woman who has attained eminence in her particular field of endeavor

The St. DeLaSalle Award Winner-Mark Crea'74

This award recognizes achievements in ministry exemplifying the highest and best traditions of Cretin High School

The Hugh Derham Award Winner-Maria Wagner Reamer'82

This award, now combined with the Hour Glass Award, is presented to a woman who exemplifies Derham Hall’s ideals of Christian love, service and objectives

The Eugene & Mary Frey Community Award Winner-Terry Cummings'58

This award is presented to an individual or individuals who reflect the mission and values of Cretin-Derham Hall through involvement with Cretin-Derham Hall and other community interests

Monsignor Ambrose Hayden Legacy Award Winner-John'57 & Cynthia O'Halloran

This award is presented to an individual or individuals whose spirit and energy reflect an understanding of the need to preserve the past and provide for future generations

The Signum Fidei Rising Star Award Winners-Kathleen Steineman'94 and Matt Birk'94

This new award symbolizes our ‘Rising Stars’ and will be presented to one younger male and one younger female for outstanding eminence in their field of endeavor or for outstanding service in the community

In past years, the Derham Hall awards were presented at the annual Derham Hall Dinner. This year, the Derham Hall Award recipients will be announced at the Derham Hall evening, Wine, Women and Wardrobe on September 27, but honorees will receive their award at the Community Awards Dinner on October 2.
