Middle Schoolers Meet CDH

April 13, 2021

The Admissions teams consists of Laura Weiss, Sean Van Gemert '96, and Sandy Cullen.

Middle school families, now is a great time to begin thinking about your high school plans! Our Admissions team is offering Family Tours specifically designed for students in grades 5-7.

While it might seem early to plan for ninth grade, getting a sense of what to expect can be very beneficial for students in middle school.

"A student's middle school years are important in developing their preparedness for high school," said Admissions Director Sean Van Gemert '96. "Our local grade schools do an excellent job in preparing middle school students for success in high school and we hope to be a good partner by emphasizing the importance of a student's middle school years for future success during our tours."

Families will have the chance to meet current students, peek inside classrooms, and ask questions about the CDH experience.

"Our tours will be filled with wide array of information regarding Cretin Derham Hall, something for everyone," said Van Gemert. "This should allow families to develop more specific questions and dive deeper into their student's areas of focus in their future interactions with our Cretin Derham Hall community. Any middle schooler in grade fifth or above with an interest in hearing about and seeing CDH should come join us for a tour!"

Family Tours are currently available on April 15, April 20, and April 30. Sign up today!
