December 2026

• December 5: The TADS application is due for incoming 9th graders only. (CDH ID#23312)
• December 5:  Financial Aid Informational Meeting for Parents.  The meeting will be in the Commons and starts at 8:30 am.
• December 5: Priority CDH application due date and Priority Placement Test date. 
  • Placement Test begins at 8:30 am. 
  • NO RSVP REQUIRED for the Placement Test- just show up! 
  • Bring $10 testing fee and a #2 pencil - No calculators allowed
  • Enter through main doors (Door 1) on Albert St.
  • The test will take 3.5-4 hours
  • Students who test at CDH and score a national cumulative of 90% or higher will receive a $2,500 scholarship.
  • All incoming 9th graders are encouraged to take the placement test at CDH. The results from this test, along with academic information from your child's grade school, will be used to recommend course level placement. 
• Heads Up: Scholarship applications are due January 1, 2027.

January 2027

• January 1:  The Carondelet, Lasallian and JROTC merit scholarship applications are due.
• Mid-January:  All students (Class of 2031) who submit their application to CDH by December 5, 2026 will be notified by mail mid-January of our admittance decision.  This will also include results of the December 5 placement test, merit scholarship awards, and financial aid award (if applicable).
• January 9: Secondary CDH application due date and Secondary CDH placement test date.

• Early February:  All students (Class of 2031) who submit their application to CDH by January 9, 2027 will be notified by mail  in early February of our admittance decision. This will also include results of the January 9 placement test, merit scholarship awards, and financial aid awards (if applicable).
• February 18:  Incoming 9th grade registration - Class of 2031. Details will be in the acceptance letters mailed home in January or February.

You will need to test if you plan to register for Spanish 2 or above

You will need to test if you plan to register for Geometry or above.

Note: If you plan to register for Algebra 1 you will not need to test.  Also, you may need to take both the math and Spanish tests.
