A Safe Community for All

At Cretin-Derham Hall, creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our students, faculty and staff is a top priority. As part of our commitment to student safety and well-being, all employees are required to complete the Archdiocesan “Essential 3” Safe Environment program as a condition of employment.

The “Essential 3” program includes a criminal background check, a Code of Conduct, and training videos, and is completed through the online platform, Virtus. Employees complete these requirements prior to their start date - as part of their new hire onboarding process - and again every three (3) years for the duration of their employment at CDH. Failure to maintain compliance results in immediate disciplinary action.

This program helps ensure that everyone in our school community is aligned in protecting and nurturing the young people entrusted to our care. We appreciate your partnership in upholding these high standards from day one. If you have any questions, please contact CDH Safe Environment Coordinator, Regan McCormack, at rmccormack@c-dh.org or 651-696-3370.
