Faculty or Staff Positions

English Teacher

Cretin-Derham Hall is hiring a full-time English teacher for the 2018-19 school year. Technology Specialist & Instructor

Cretin-Derham Hall is looking for a 12-month employee who can work with the Technology Department both as a support person and as a technology instructor. Teaching may include up to two classes per trimester. Classes may include the following: Introduction to Programming, Computer Aided Design, Computer Animation, and Programming Apps for iOS. In addition to teaching, this employee will be required to assist the helpdesk with troubleshooting technical problems, work with the Network Specialist, and report to the Director of Technology. Other duties may include communicating with software companies for troubleshooting purposes, assisting in the computer lab, supporting the STEM program, and managing general tasks related to technology in a school environment.

Education Requirements:

A bachelor's degree with work experience or a master's degree.  Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience and/or experience working in a school environment or in instructional technology.

Assistant Competitive Dance Team Coach

Required Qualifications:
* Knowledge of MSHSL styles of High Kick and Jazz. Ability to work collaboratively with the overall coaching staff to continue to grow the dance program. 

* Resourcefulness to assist in the development and implementation of recruiting efforts to grow the program. 

* Willingness to assist in general admin/behind the scenes tasks required to keep the program running smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong technical dance background and ability to develop and lead ballet training for the team. 

* Capability to voice new ideas to help the program grow and improve for the future.  

* Ability to assist in JV Jazz practices throughout the year and bring new ideas on how to push dancers to the next level.

CDH Phonathon

The Cretin-Derham Hall Phonathon is a program made up of CDH students. This is our chance to thank our supporters, talk about the events and accomplishments of the school, and update supporters' information. Phonathon begins in September and runs until May. Students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply. We are always looking for great callers to join our team! The pay is $9 an hour.
