Softball
Cretin-Derham Hall Softball program offers competition at the Varsity, B squad and ninth grade levels. The Varsity and B Squad team competes in 20 contests throughout the season. Ninth Grade will complete in 15 games Softball season begins on Monday, March 12, 2011 and concluding in the first part of June with the MSHSL State Tournament. The B Squad and ninth grade teams compete through the third week in May. The fee for softball ranges between $35-50 depending upon what each player may need. Varsity and B squad players are provided school issued uniform top and pants. Ninth graders purchase their own top and provide their own black shorts. Optional team items to purchase include socks, visor, and long sleeve shirts under the jersey. More information regarding ordering will follow at the Parent/Athlete Meeting. 2011-2012 SOFTBALL Parent Contact InformationCretin-Derham Hall welcomes Dr. Michael Roscher as the New Head Softball Coach for the 2012 season. Dr. Roscher is a 1968 graduate of Cretin High School. He has a long history of being involved in the Cretin and Cretin-Derham Hall community.
Dr. Roscher has spent the past twenty years coaching different levels of softball. Most recently, he has been the B Squad Coach at CDH the past 4 years. Previously, he helped in the softball program in various capacities as a volunteer coaching in the summer tri county Mendota Heights teams in which his three daughters participated and supervising softball in the off season at open gyms.

There was a softball meeting July 25 at CDH to introduce Dr. Roscher as the Head Coach. At this meeting Dr. Roscher shared team and individual expectations for the upcoming season.
