Cretin-Derham Hall is a Catholic co-educational high school, co-sponsored by the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, committed to Christian values and academic excellence in grades nine through twelve. Part time Science Teacher (Chemistry and Astronomy)

Cretin-Derham Hall is hiring a part time Science Teacher to teach Chemistry and Astronomy. 

Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of a  Bachelor's degree in subject area and a valid teaching license and experience teaching in a high school atmosphere.

 

Full time Spanish Teacher

Full time Spanish teacher to teach 4 sections of Spanish 4 Honors and 1 section of Introductory Spanish.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of a  Bachelor's degree in subject area and a valid teaching license and experience teaching in a high school atmosphere.

  • Prepare lessons to deliver to high school students about principles of the Spanish language as well as information related to Spanish culture.
  • Develop and use course materials for students to complete in the classroom and for homework, which includes online and in class practices, projects and additional assignments.  
  • Evaluate students’ performances, including grading formative and summative assessments 
  • Making note of how well students participate in class and tracking their in class participation.
  • Collaborate with other Spanish teachers to develop consistent learning goals for each level.

We have a consistent sequence and scaffolding of the levels that will be taught with already created resources for you to use with your students.  We also encourage differentiation in our curriculum to give all our students rigor and success.
