MPR reports that CDH student Leon Xiong ’19 won the very first essay contest at the 40th Hmong New Year Anniversary Celebrations in St. Paul.

Jessica Lutmer '21 painted the "Last Supper" on a wall in the cafeteria of St. Peter’s Catholic School in North St. Paul. She began work on the painting while she was an eighth-grader at the school.

Pope Francis has recognized the martyrdom of De La Salle Christian Br. James Miller, who was born in Wisconsin and was shot to death in Guatemala in 1982. Br. James taught Spanish at Cretin High School in the late 1960s and started the boys’ soccer program.
