CDH Class Representatives
Class Representatives are alumni from Cretin, Derham Hall and Cretin-Derham Hall and their role is to strengthen the alumni connections by meaningful engagement with classmates with one another and with CDH. Class Representatives are also important ambassadors for philanthropic outreach in support of CDH.
Class Representatives will:
Help connect your classmates to CDH and each other through communications and events
Post to class social media outlets about the good news of CDH
Attend other signature CDH events
Support: Assist your classmates in building financial support from your class to impact scholarships, academic programming, and other critical school needs at CDH. Working with staff liaisons, class representatives plan and participate in periodic outreach campaigns to encourage giving to CDH, including our GiveCDH Day.
Give an annual gift to CDH
Encourage classmates to support CDH philanthropically
Steward: Class representatives also help ensure classmates are properly recognized for their generosity to CDH
Thank classmates for their annual gifts and recognize major gifts
Class representatives will also be listed in the Annual Report.
Being a class representative is designed to be a manageable volunteer experience. This is a 2-year commitment, with terms beginning in August and expiring in June. There are two special events designed for Class Reps, plus other outreach efforts to benefit CDH.
Attend the Fall CDH Alumni Representative Social annually in August on campus
Attend the Fall All Alumni Event annually in September on campus
Send and share class communications
The class representatives are an ad hoc committee of the Alumni Board. The Alumni Board executive committee will support class reps with communications and outreach.
Most classes will do a minimum of two outreach campaigns a year, involving phone and email outreach to classmates.
