We are so excited to have you join the Class of 2028!  You've landed in the right place to find all the information you need for a successful start to your CDH experience.

Registration for incoming 9th graders, the Class of 2028, will take place on Thursday, February 29 in person at CDH in the Joe Mauer Fieldhouse. Please see the details below regarding the registration event on February 29. You may arrive any time within your time slot. Enter through door #1 off Albert St.

Last Name Beginning A - L: 2:45 - 4:45 pm, Thursday, February 29

Last Name Beginning M - Z: 5:30 - 7 pm, Thursday, February 29

For students unable to attend registration on February 29, a makeup registration will take place on Thursday, March 21 at 3PM.

In mid-February students will be mailed placement test results, merit scholarship notifications, and recommended class placement, as well as the Continuous Enrollment Contract.

If your application for admission was submitted after January 6 (Priority deadline), expect to receive your registration mailing with the items above in late February.


Registration Steps for Incoming 9th Graders (Class of 2028)

Please follow the steps below to register as part of the CDH Class of 2028:

1. Practice for Registration

At registration you will be selecting classes and completing the 9th Grade Registration Form with a CDH faculty member. A Practice Form can be accessed below. Prior to registration, please review the Grade 9 Course Offerings below.

2. Consider Registering for Summer Courses; Two classes offered:  Summer Health and Summer Human Geography

If you plan to enroll for a summer course, Health or Human Geography, you will complete the registration during the registration event on February 29. Each course is $200 which will be collected at registration.  Please see the forms below.  Extra copies will be available at registration.

Please note, priority enrollment in the summer Human Geography course will be awarded to students who have a full class schedule during the regular school year.

3. Continuous Enrollment Contract

The Continuous Enrollment Contract that you received in your packet mailing is a one-time contract that will serve as the contract for all four years at CDH.  Please complete the contract and bring it with you to registration. 

4.FINAL STEP:  Submit Contract, Registration Fee and summer course fee

The Continuous Enrollment Contract, the $300 registration fee and any applicable summer course fee will be collected when you check out after registering for classes on Thursday, February 29.  These fees must be submitted to ensure your spot in the Class of 2028.  We accept cash, check (made payable to CDH) or credit card.

Students may wear CDH spirit wear throughout the school year on Fridays over their school uniform.  Our Raider Rack will be open during registration from 2-7pm.  Stop by and check out all they offer.
