New Mural Created by Seniors in Leadership Academy

A new mural signifying our CDH legacy and values has been completed on campus.  Seniors Amy Vievering and Marina Tschida met with President Frank Miley and Principal Mona Passman over the summer and presented their concept for a new mural. The students' design includes the logos of Cretin, Derham Hall and Cretin-Derham Hall.  

Both Viervering and Tschida are part of Leadership Academy; this mural was their capstone project which is a  part of their Leadership Academy requirement before they graduate. The Leadership Academy is a year-long curriculum developed at CDH to explicitly teach selected students the skills associated with being good leaders. The mural was completed, start to finish,in 10 days and is located in the Link Hallway, a prominent area on campus. To honor the previous mural, a framed photo is displayed next to the current mural.
