Ben Beery ’03

Architect

Ben Beery is a registered architect in the state of Minnesota and has been practicing architecture for eight years at Wold Architects and Engineers. In that time, he has focused his career on educational facilities. As a project manager, Ben has managed the design and construction of over $250 million of educational projects in Minnesota. He has developed a passion for educational projects because he believes a building's design should embody the community in which they serve. As such, each project should be unique and each solution should be creative in order to best serve the community.


Dr. Elizabeth Tuohy ’96

Cardiologist at United Heart & Vascular Clinic in St. Paul, MN

Dr. Tuohy is a non-invasive cardiologist, taking care of patients in the clinic setting and also at United Hospital. She performs echocardiography, nuclear stress tests, and cardiac CT imaging. She also enjoys teaching the physicians-in-training for the United Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Tuohy's clinical focus is in cardiovascular disease prevention. She serves as Medical Director of the Heart Disease Prevention Clinic at UHVC. Dr. Tuohy loves her job as it provides the opportunity to meet and help a wide variety of people and it is always challenging her to continue to learn.


Frederic D. Argir ’82

Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Barnes & Noble, Inc.

Fred was appointed Vice President and Chief Digital Officer for Barnes & Noble, Inc., in July 2015. He oversees the E-Commerce and NOOK businesses, which are part of retail. He joined the company from Toys “R” Us, Inc., where he served as Chief Digital Officer since 2012, overseeing digital businesses in 13 countries. He is an accomplished e-Commerce/Omni-Channel leader who brings a deep understanding of retail, e-commerce, information technology, and supply chain, with a proven track record for driving organizations to high levels of performance and profitability.


Dr. Sara Schulz Michel, DDS ’93

Dentist at O'Kane and Monssen Family Dentistry

After graduating from CDH, Sara went on to attend the College of Saint Benedict and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology. She began studying at the University of Minnesota Dental school that fall. Science was always a favorite subject of hers and she knew she wanted to work somewhere in the healthcare field. When Sara started college, she followed the pre-dental track, and never looked back. Sara is fortunate to have had amazing mentors along the way to help guide her along her path.
