My high school experience has impacted my life in many ways. The first that comes to mind is the power of surrounding yourself with great people that push you, allow you to be yourself, and make sure you don't take life too seriously. CDH empowered me to know that if I put my mind to something, I could chase it down, no matter how hard or distant it may seem.

I encourage current CDH students to reflect and become self-aware as to what brings them energy and joy. Gravitate towards those areas, become an expert in those areas, and have fun along the way.

Being a graduate of CDH means knowing you always have a bedrock of support and people in your corner that are willing to help you, cheer you on, and lend an ear if times ever get tough. My CDH friends are still my closest and best friends to this date.

It would be easy to pick one moment from high school whether it was playing Raider football or Raider baseball, but the honest answer is my favorite memory from high school is the innumerable hours spent with friends being teenage kids without a worry in the world.
