AAPI Heritage Month is Celebrated with Music and Reflection

The entire school gathered on May 19 to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with a cultural celebration.

The event included a reflection by Yolanda Xu ’26 and performances by Gao Hong’s ensemble, featuring traditional Chinese folk tunes, classical music, and the vibrant energy of Peking opera. 

Our very own student band took the stage as well.

After the performances, students had the opportunity to speak with members of Gao Hong's ensemble and sample their instruments.
