Dr. Robert E. Schaaf '68, MD, FACR, former president and managing partner at Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare, has been awarded the Silver Medal for distinguished and extraordinary service from the North Carolina Radiological Society, a statewide professional organization and chapter of the American College of Radiology. This prestigious award is the chapter’s highest honor and has only been awarded to a dozen radiologists in the past several decades. Learn more.

Cretin-Derham Hall honored Veterans Day with an assembly hosted by the CDH Alumni Association and JROTC Raider Brigade, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, and veterans to celebrate and thank those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
