Alumni Reconnect in Chicago

President Jeb Myers and Major Gift Officer Steve Walsh ’85 recently traveled to Chicago to connect with alumni from all three schools: Cretin, Derham Hall, and Cretin-Derham Hall. Their visit included a reception and social on April 23 at Siena Tavern in the city’s River North neighborhood.

The event brought together alumni and friends for an evening of conversation, connection, and updates from CDH leadership. Attendees shared stories, reconnected with classmates, and heard about exciting developments happening at CDH.

Tommy Cummings ’18 described the night as “a great time,” highlighting the opportunity to see old friends and hear directly from President Myers. Elise Hitchcock ’18 added, “It’s such a special thing to have CDH invest in all of us... being able to meet alumni from different classes at this stage in our lives is so rare. No other high school does this, and it’s what makes being a CDH graduate so special.”

CDH is committed to creating opportunities for alumni and friends to reconnect and celebrate their shared history and Raider spirit. Previous events include visits to Palm Desert, California , Naples, Florida, and Arizona.
