AP Bio Students Show Off Their Mussels
February 25, 2021
Mike Steineman '92's AP Biology class is working on the Show Us Your Mussels Challenge also with the Minnesota Zoo. The goal of this project is to create a digital media campaign to educate Minnesotans of the importance of native freshwater mussels. Students are now working to get their messages out to the public. The goal is to have the most likes, clicks, retweets, posts, etc. The school with the most hits will win an all-expenses paid field trip to the zoo (pending COVID-19 protocols) and interact with the mussel conservation team to get a closer look at the mussel conservation project underway at the zoo.
View their projects below, and give Raiders your vote by March 5!
