Brian Willems '21 Earns Eagle Scout Ranking
February 23, 2021
Brian Willems '21 earned the Eagle Scout Ranking on February 9.
His Eagle project was to plant trees and bushes between Mendota Elementary School and a neighbor's house. The plants double as a privacy fence and education, because he added signs with the names of the plants for the students to read.
The project required him to balance the needs and schedules of different people.
"This project helped me learn patience with people because sometimes things would just come to a halt and I would have to wait for a response from people," Willems said.
Willems said Scouting has provided him with many good friends, and helped him develop his morals and code of ethics.
Congratulations, Brian!
