CDH History Day 2018 Showcased Excellent Work on 'Conflict and Compromise'
The History Day Team
February 26, 2018
Approximately 200 college-prep, U.S. History sophomores completed projects for the tenth annual CDH History Day on February 21, 2018.
Working with this year's national theme, Conflict & Compromise, the students (either as individuals or in small groups) completed 115 projects in five different categories of presentation: Exhibit, Website, Documentary, Performance, or Research Paper.
From all entries, 22 projects (representing the work of 38 students) were selected to advance to the regional competition at Augsburg University on Tuesday, March 13, from 4 to 9 p.m. The event is open to the public.
Cretin-Derham Hall students had many strong projects but History Day regulations limit the number of projects per school that can be sent to the regional competition.
The following sophomores will advance to the regionals. Students who earned 'honorable mention' will not advance to regionals but were judged to be well done.
