CDH Honored At Memorial Blood Center's Sponsor Appreciation Breakfast
October 10, 2017
Cretin-Derham Hall was honored for our successful blood drives at a recent Memorial Blood Drive Sponsor Appreciation Breakfast. CDH consistently places in the top five high schools for the number of units of blood collected. CDH was recognized for being in second place with 372 total units collected in 2016-2017.
Ms. Patty Murray, Ms. Suzanne Engel Zobitz'80, and a number of our students attended the event hosted by Memorial Blood Center. The event was held at the Metropolitan Club and was emceed by KARE 11 Sunrise's Tim McNiff. This event brings sponsors across the state together to celebrate the success of blood donations.
Because of our success in blood drives, our students had the opportunity to lead four different sessions during the break out time. During these sessions, our students shared their expertise on how to run a successful high school blood drive.
The next Blood Drive is scheduled for Friday, December 1, 2017. All are welcome to be donors. Please watch the CDH website for more details. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Patty Murray or Ms. Suzanne Engel Zobitz'80.
