CDH Teacher receives Fox 9 Top Teacher of the Year Award

Cretin-Derham Hall teacher Na Ye was honored to receive the 2015 Top Teacher of the Year Award by KMSP Fox 9. She was presented with the award in her classroom on Tuesday, April 21.

Na Ye was nominated by CDH senior Emma Jaschke, who is a student in Na Ye's Chinese class.

Na Ye received the award, a $900 check from Royal Credit Union to use for her classroom, and a Subway sandwich party for 100 people.

Na Ye started teaching at Cretin-Derham Hall in the 2013-14 school year when Chinese was added as a World Language course offering. She designed the Chinese curriculum.
