Clay Target Shooting Team Hits a Bullseye

The Raider Clay Target Shooting Team had a great 2019 season with three shooters winning honors. The team shoots in two leagues, the MN State Clay Target League and MNYESS (MN Youth Education in the Shooting Sports).
This year’s team consisted of 13 boys and 7 girls. Team captains are Dylan Jacobson ’19, Stanley Lukas ’19, and Allison Naber ’20. The clay target team is a co-curricular that practices year-round and competes in the spring.

- Dylan Jacobson- Male 2nd Place Season Average Conference 1- 23.20
- Stanley Lukas- Male 3rd Place Season Average Conference 1- 21.70
- Allison Naber- Female 1st Place Highest Season Average Conference 1 – 16.70
Jacobson also earned All-State Honors in both trap and skeet, ranking 33rd with an average of 24.10 in trap and 9th in skeet with an average of 23.2. More than 12,000 kids in Minnesota participated in high school trap teams this spring. Dylan finished 33rd, which is the best for any CDH student since the team’s inception 6 years ago. The CDH team will be competing in the trap and skeet championships on June 10 and 19.
