Congratulations to Joe Musielewicz and Conner Rued

May 11, 2015

Seniors Joe Musielewicz and Conner Rued joined a long list of notable Americans, including film director Steven Spielberg and astronaut Neil Armstrong, when they earned the Boy Scouts of America’s highest honor: Eagle Scout.

Joe is a member of Troop 13, which is sponsored by St. Columba Catholic Church in St. Paul. For his Eagle Scout project, Joe led a book drive for Books for Africa, a St. Paul-based nonprofit that collects and sends books to Africa. Joe collected in excess of 1,400 books and pioneered an innovative door-to-door collection process.

Conner is a member of Troop 248 in West St. Paul. For his Eagle Scout project, Connor created a memorial garden on the CDH campus which honors the memory of the three CDH students who died last year: Max Lowell, Ben Mueller, and Mac Greeman. Connor designed and installed the landscaping, including planting three trees in their memory.
