Deacon Paul Baker'05 to be Ordained

Deacon Paul John Baker '05, will be ordained to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ at the Cathedral of St. Paul on Saturday, May 27, 2017.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in History and Geography at The University of Wisconsin – Madison, Baker discerned and was accepted into the St. Paul Seminary (SPS) in 2011. His past six years at SPS have been filled with rigorous study and prayer along with educational travel with his fellow seminarians to Ireland, Mexico, Venezuela, the Holy Land, and Rome. Baker has also served in various capacities in parishes throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Very shortly before his ordination, Baker will receive his initial parish assignment.
He is supported by his parents Steve and Lisa, his sisters Maureen '07 and Briana '11, and the parishioners at his home parish of St. Peter’s in Mendota, MN.
