October 12, 2016
"She Loves Me" debuts on the CDH stage October 28 - November 6, 2016.
Premised on the story behind the popular movie, "You've Got Mail," this musical asks the question, 'Will he like her?' Set in the flourish of 1930's Budapest, this story focuses on the clerks inside Marazcek's Parmuferie. Mr. Marazcek smells infidelity; Sipos has a family to support; Kodaly and Ilona are on again/off again lovers; and young Arpad just wants a promotion.
These clerks (and an array of shoppers) spin around the complex relationship between co-workers Amalia Balash and George Nowak. Endless fights and secret pen pals add intrigue and complexity to the relationships.
Join the company of "SHE LOVES ME" in the Lillian Theater for an evening of playfulness, poise, and romance!
