Football Tackles Cancer
October 9, 2019
The CDH football teams raised money for cancer research in September. They held a bake sale, raffle, and bucket brigade, which together raised $1190.42 for the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
Many people made this year a success. The team would like to give the following a special recognition: the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund, the Mike Zimmer Foundation, the football families who donated baked goods, Morsels in Lake Elmo, Thomas Reuters, Peggy Mansur, Carle Novak, Kate Dario, Samantha Burrows, Phil Archer, Ruth Johnson, Mary Winkle from Taher, Fr. Haugan and Veronica Gunderson from Holy Spirit, Dale Columbus, Melissa Floysand, Erin Kimlinger and, finally, the entire CDH staff and student body for supporting this endeavor.
