George H. Veith Jr.'39 Band Room Dedication

The Cretin-Derham Hall Band Room was dedicated on Thursday, March 26, 2015, in honor and memory of George H. Veith, Jr.'39. Veith was a Cretin High School teacher and band director, whose legendary career at Cretin spanned 33 years.  Family and friends gathered in the Band Room for the dedication. Amy and Mike Whalen'60, lifelong friends of the Veith family, were in attendance.

CDH band students played the school rouser and Happy Birthday in celebration of George's widow, Arlene, who is observing her 90th birthday. The evening continued with dinner in the Saul Family Hall located in the Sunberg Leadership Center.
