Girls Lacrosse Competed at State
June 10, 2019
The Girls Lacrosse ended the regular season with a 6-5 record and entered sections as the #3 seed.
In the section semifinal game they faced Minnehaha who had knocked them out last year in the section final. CDH was the lower seed going into the game and upset Minnehaha, a top ten team.
In the finals, they were down two goals and came back against Rosemount with four minutes left in the game. Anne Marie Rhoda '19 made the tying goal to send the game to overtime. The game went on to sudden victory overtime where Kiera Ryan '20 scored the game-winning goal.
The girls had a 9-5 record going into the state tournament, where they lost to #1 seed Eden Prairie in the quarterfinals. Great season, Raiders!
