Girls Swim & Dive Sends Five Swimmers To State Swim Meet

The Girls Swimming & Diving team finished 3rd at Section 6AA Finals on Saturday behind the teams from Edina and Minneapolis Southwest. Of the 23 swims we had, 12 of them continued to drop time (seasonal or lifetime bests) from prelims!
The following team members qualified for the Class AA State Swimming & Diving Meet this Friday and Saturday (November 17 and 18):
Kate Van Meter (12): 200 Medley Relay (MR), 200 Individual Medley (IM), 500 Freestyle, & the 200 Free Relay (FR)
Anneke van Oosterom (10): 200 MR, 200 Freestyle, & 200 FR
Grace Arlandson (12): 200 MR & 200 FR
Chloe Schmidt (10): 200 MR
Carolyn Garcia-Creighton (10): 200 FR
Relay alternates are: Gia Postiglione (12), Charlotte Conley (11), Sophie Clausen (10), & Eleanor Jablonic (10).
Prelims are Friday and finals are Saturday. The meet is at the U of MN Aquatic Center and starts at 6:00 p.m. both days. Tickets are $8 for all and available at the door.
