Interested in Volunteering for DECA?
John Pohl, Business Teacher
December 5, 2016
The Cretin-Derham Hall DECA team will be participating in the District 2 Regional competition on Friday, January 6, from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown St. Paul.
DECA is a program that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college and career ready. Our students work incredibly hard on their projects with the hope of advancing to the state and national competitions.
Our district is always looking for volunteer judges to help the students with this fantastic experience. Judges are given a complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Parking is also validated if needed.
This wonderful event could not happen if it weren't for volunteers from the 12 schools competing. Please consider volunteering or passing this information on to anyone who likes to volunteer.
If you know of anyone who is retired and looking to volunteer, or if you know of someone who works for a company that promotes its employees to volunteer, we would love to have their help. Our students really appreciate it.
Please use the register to volunteer to be a judge. To learn more about Deca, visit the information page.
Please feel free to contact John Pohl with any questions.Thank you!
