JROTC Students Bond at Camp Ripley
October 2, 2018
Ninety cadets, along with the cadre and chaperones, traveled to Camp Ripley on September 28-30, 2018, for the annual encampment.
The cadets experienced some snowflakes but were still able to complete all of the fun events, including a pizza party, running the orienteering and obstacle course, a prayer service, a trip to the Camp Ripley Museum, and a fun dodge ball tournament. All the cadets had a great time and arrived back at CDH on Sunday with a half-day left for church and homework.
The trip to Camp Ripley every year is very important for the JROTC students to get to know each other better, and to allow the senior cadets to practice their leadership skills.
