Jumpstart Day Launches College Search for Juniors

January 18, 2018

Juniors were encouraged to wear college spirit wear on Jumpstart Your Future Day.

All junior students participated in the Jumpstart Your Future Day at CDH on January 18, 2018.

Students spent the school day learning about different aspects of the college search process including sessions on finding a good college fit, financial aid, college testing, writing college essays, and making admission decisions.

Juniors also registered for their accounts on Naviance, which is a web-based college search and application management system.

CDH is fortunate to have many college admissions professionals from colleges and universities that attended and participated in this day. Students also heard from a panel of recent CDH graduates who shared their experiences in searching for a good college fit.

The CDH Post-Secondary Planning Committee of the Parents' Association and many other parent volunteers helped coordinate this day-long event.
