National Walk or Bike to School Day, May 4

May 2, 2016

On Wednesday, May 4, 2016, for the first time ever the four schools in the RanHam neighborhood are teaming up with the district councils for a collaborative walk/bike to school day.
Expo Elementary, Holy Spirit, Randolph Heights and Cretin-Derham Hall will be encouraging students to move their bodies to get to school. This effort is to promote physical activity, teach safe biking and pedestrian skills and reduce traffic congestion and speed near the schools.

To accommodate students who cannot feasibly walk, bike or roll to school each elementary school has designated remote drop off locations for buses and parent cars.

Saint Paul Police will be out helping students cross certain streets.
Don't be alarmed if there are a few more patrol cars in the neighborhood than usual on that morning.
